Stanford Info
  • Bay area / Memphis comparison. Poplar Avenue (the blue line with the glow) is the benchmark for distance measurement on this map showing the relatives sizes of Memphis and the Bay Area, cobbled together from MapQuest minimaps.
  • Stanford's searchable map. Useful for finding buildings at Stanford, if you want to do that for some reason.

Berkeley Info
  • My Berkeley Photo Tour - a map of Berkeley with links to over 350 pictures I took.

  • A very selective Bay Area map - A general perspective on the Bay Area. It takes about twenty-five minutes to travel go from Berkeley to downtown San Francisco by BART (“Bay Area Rapid Transit” = subway & light rail).

  • The La Loma circle at Foothill is located at 37° 52' 57" N, 122° 15' 37" W.

  • Exciting Spelling Note: Berkeley has three “e”s. Many people spell it as “Berkley,” but this isn't correct, although there is a “Berkley Business College” in Spain. That certainly sounds reputable, just like “Stamford,” which is located in Thailand, rather than Palo Alto.
